4 Daughters and a Step-Daughter although I have to give credit to her mom for her being the sweet little kid that she is!
I know a thing or two about what works, what doesn’t, and what both works and is a delight to use. If I don’t have what you want, I will find someone for you who does.
Pregnancy discomforts, labor aids, breastfeeding, teething, diapering, rashes, babies who don’t sleep, colic, potty training, a baby with a plugged nose who can’t nurse...I have been there!
I am happy to offer suggestions or simply a listening ear and I am NOT just here to sell you something! I want you to have information that works.
-Baby’s Enchanted Garden isn’t a part time job for my family.
We all work together to provide you with a great shopping experience and we are working at it long, hard hours. We are constantly brainstorming for ideas to keep things fresh and on target. We have poured every penny into making it the well-rounded store that it is today. We will continue to build it until it is truly a complete entity where our customers can come and have all their natural parenting needs met.
I am a WAHM and Baby’s Enchanted Garden is our sole income so your business means the world to us!
-I am an aromatherapist with well over a decades experience with essential oils.
My focus has mostly been in medicinal usage but I can offer suggestions and advice for your aromatherapy questions. I will not offer you advice if I do not know what I am talking about.
I can’t sew!
Okay, you may be wondering why I would even mention this? Well, I cannot sew so you won’t be seeing any WAHM-made diapers or whatnot made by Stephanie Russell any time soon.
What this means for you?
It means I spend my time pestering all the other WAHM’s to find out if they want to wholesale to me so that they can get their amazing products out with more exposure and I can carry top-quality WAHM-made products!
It also means that if you can't get that wonderful little hemp fleece fitted diaper that you saw at such and such's website, maybe you can get it from me!
Lastly, it means that I have done the homework for you, weeding out what works and is well made from what isn't. Now this doesn't mean that if I don't offer it, it isn't good...don't get me wrong. Just that what I do offer has been tried, tested and passed with flying colors.
I believe in home and family-run businesses...I believe that we need to take care of each other anywhere we can.

SUMMER SHIPPING SCHEDULE
We will only be shipping on Wedsnesdays and Fridays during the Summer as we are trying to spend as much time as possible with our children. We apologize for any delay this may cause you but that is why we are in this business, so we can put family first.
If you require your package be shipped right away, please feel free to contact us and we will see what we can do.
*Custom nursing necklaces will NOT be accepted as RUSH orders.

At Baby’s Enchanted Garden we aim for your order to go out the same day you place it if possible with our goal being to have it out within 3 days.
In the case of backorders, if the item backordered is already on its way, we usually won’t contact you but will ship everything out as soon as we receive it. If it looks like it will be more than a few days, we will contact you to let you know what is going on. If you have any questions about your order and where it is or if you would like a different shipping method (or anything else) please give us a call or email! We are happy to work with you.
Baby's Enchanted Garden offers three ways to ship your order:
1. USPS Ground - This method takes approximately 7-14 business days although orders to Alaska or Hawaii have been known to take even longer. Anywhere else in the US usually takes about a week.
2. USPS Priority - This method costs a little more than Ground but it also gets to you faster, usually within 3-7 business days.
3. Pick Up - This method is for local customers who would rather drop by to pick up their package. If we are available we can drop packages off to you as well. Call for details or to make an appointment.
Baby's Enchanted Garden will also ship UPS Ground, 2 Day, Overnight or any other method but the customer will pay all costs incurred for shipping by these methods.
*We will charge a $5.00 service charge for any order that is cancelled after we have retrieved shipping costs because this involves a lot of extra work on our part.
This means that if you place an order, request an alternate shipping method and then cancel after we have done this additional service, we will retain $5.00 of your refund.
We truly do not mind procurring alternate shipping methods for you but this entails us packing your order as if we were going to ship it, going to UPS or wherever else you request and then emailing you with the charges. If the order is a rush, it is even harder because we will usually go to wherever you request and then also to the post office to get their charges because they may offer you a less expensive method.

The big deal is that we spend our lives coating ourselves in chemicals...in time this leads to a really BIG buildup of toxins in our bodies. Our skin is a consummate absorber of just about anything we put on it (think anti-smoking or birth control patches) and in babies, even more so. There are so many wonderful toxin-free products out there, why settle for less? My motto has always been ‘Settle for MORE!’
For baby it is easier...cloth diaper and be careful what you use to wash diapers in. Use wipe solutions that you make yourself or use plain water! It works really well! Treat rashes with the purest healer...fresh air, a little sunlight and only take additional measures if this doesn’t work. Be conservative with medications. Breastfeed! Introduce solid foods late and only when baby shows an interest. Use nothing on their skin unless they need it for skin irritation or for infant massage. Pretty simple:)
Organic products can be very pricey, no question about that so if cost is an option, try to add organics into your life where they matter most, to your skin and in your food choices. If you cannot afford organic foods, purchase produce washes and cook from scratch as much as possible so you know what has gone into the food you eat. Purchase skin care and cosmetics made from pure plant and mineral sources.
I think the biggest thing you can do for yourself is to simply leave out all the things you don’t need. I used to be coated in hairspray, gel, mousse, perfume and a pound or so of make up. (It was the 80’s, okay?) Eventually I learned to make friends with my hair and I quit trying to beat it into submission. The only hair products I use today are a small glossing of Manoi de Tahiti Oil after washing my hair with Wen (a non-shampoo) or some similar pure shampoo. My hair is more glorious than I ever could have imagined!
I rarely wear perfume...I find the scent of Badger’s Evolving Body Balm intoxicating and rely on that. I still love my make up but I do not wear it very often. This is just an example and I sure don’t have it all figured out but sometimes it is daunting to look at all the areas that would need to be changed if we were to ‘go organic’ so we panic and do nothing. I say, don’t panic! Just drop off unnecessary things and replace them with something better...you may even find they don’t need replacing.

I have done my homework on shipping and retail prices.
It may LOOK like a good idea to purchase diapers for cheaper elsewhere but when you check out, you may end up paying a very high price in shipping for those same items.
Free Shipping?
Not likely on heavy weight items. Check it out for yourself!
Hidden costs couched under the guise of great prices aren’t a favor to the consumer.
At Baby’s Enchanted Garden we calculate shipping charges based on the actual weight of your product and how much packaging materials cost. A light order will pay light shipping, a heavy order will pay more. Drop Ship items often have additional cost and this will be noted where applicable.
Our costs aren’t hidden and we won’t lure you in with empty promises that prove incorrect when you check out.
We strive to offer the best price within the guidelines set by the manufacturers of our products. We have really great sales going on just about all the time so be sure to check back often or join our email list to keep posted.
We also price match so you don’t have to go buy something from one store then go to another and another to get the items you want. You can get them all in one place with one shipping price.

Under our new shipping calculation method, the only items that will have different or additional shipping are items that will arrive to you directly from the manufacturer. There are some items that are too large for us to have in stock (such as mattresses) or are handmade just for you. The shipping you pay calculated from our store are for instock items only, the additional shipping is for the above-mentioned drop ship items to pay for their transport to you.
We do our best to offer breaks wherever we can but on some drop ship items we do not make much money from the items so we cannot offer a break on the shipping or we may actually end up losing money on the deal.

As a matter of fact, we believe that raising our family well and helping others are the most important things we can do in our lives!
Baby’s Enchanted Garden makes charitable donations anywhere we can.
We aren’t trying to toot our own horn but we do want to let you know that we help those in need any time we can with donations to needy moms in Canada, to an Attachment Parenting women’s retreat and individual donations wherever the need arises plus many more.
We do not promise to give a certain percentage of our income to charities because during times (like now) when things are rough, we wouldn’t have much to give but we do have products that meet needs of women and children all over the world and so we donate what we have whenever we can.
