Personal note from Stephanie:
I have kept a journal for all of my daughter's. I usually start within the first four months of my baby's life. I don't write in them every single day, as a matter of fact, sometimes a year will go by! I keep them for when my daughter's are older so the might understand what life was like for me, for them, the wonderful things they were doing, the insanely funny things that kept us howling with laughter. You know the things I am talking about! When baby cut off all her hair the day before the Easter Contada so she looked like a little boy in a big pink fluffy dress. Or how about the time you awoke to find that you little guy had gotten up a little ahead of you, borrowed your lipstick and painted your bedroom a lovely shade of red...and you didn't realize what was happening until he turned his attention to your own sleeping form! Or how about the time when baby dumped out your brand new bottle of expensive perfume on top of your wooden dresser...or what about the time...? I think you get the idea! These moments are too precious to leave to faulty memory...jot them down in a special place just for baby.
