Hemp is super absorbant and wool is a wonderful, natural water-resistant layer plus it has it's own superior absorbancy.

Lovely, soft and absorbant. A perfect all-around choice.
-Sherpa/Wool...
Unbleached cotton sherpa is very absorbant. These pads are made with the smooth side next to the skin and they have a wool layer for moisture resistance and extra absorbancy.
